Who We Are
Lakû Mètrès La is a house of knowledge and spirit, a living temple of ancestral memory. We are not a modern invention or a borrowed tradition. We are the continuation of the ancient road—the return to Ginen, the spiritual source of all living wisdom.
Our Mission
To awaken spiritual intelligence through ancestral science, sacred rhythm, and personal transformation. We prepare the body, spirit, and mind for service through traditional Vodoun education and holistic healing. We do not teach for curiosity. We teach for mastery, responsibility, and divine remembrance. Every Vodounvi who walks through this house learns to serve with clarity, to move with rhythm, and to speak the language of the invisible.
Our Lineage
Lakû Mètrès La stands upon sacred foundations. Our teachings carry the power and protection of the ancient nations:
• Ginen Vodoun – The ancestral current that carries the soul of Haiti.
• Rada, Petwo, and Gede Nations – The sacred triad of balance, fire, and transformation.
• Fon, Ewe, and Yoruba Wisdom – The mother rivers of African spirituality.
• Taíno Earth Mysteries – The breath of the first guardians of Ayiti.
• Kongo Science – The path of iron, bone, and ancestral fire.
• Holistic and Planetary Healing – Integrating ancient rhythm with modern understanding. This is not religion. This is remembrance.
Our Approach
Experience
We teach through experience, ritual, and rhythm. Students learn by doing, by feeling, by serving. Each level opens a deeper gate—inviting the student to explore inner wisdom through real practice and reflection.
Our Approach
Each ceremony awakens another part of the self. Through sacred rituals, songs, and ancestral guidance, students embody knowledge rather than just study it. Every movement and chant becomes a spiritual lesson.
Service
Each initiation reconnects you to the voice of your ancestors. Through morning meditations, evening rituals, travel to Haiti, and communal service within the Lakû, every Vodounvi learns to balance spirit and science, faith and function, the visible and invisible worlds.
Our Motto
“Return to Spirit. Honor the Ancestors. Walk the Sacred Path.”
