COMMUNITY & COVEN
Lakû Mètrès La – Where Spirit, Family, and Discipline Walk as One
At Lakû Mètrès La, community is not something you join. It is something you become.
We are not a club. We are not a social circle. We are not a trend or a spiritual hobby.
We are a living lineage, a Coven, a Sosyete, a House of the Spirits — built through discipline, love, accountability, and ancestral order.
Every person who enters the Lakû enters a rhythm, a responsibility, and a spiritual family that stretches from the United States to Haiti to the ancestral nations of Ginen.
This is who we are.
KOMINOTE AK SOSYETE
Lakû Mètrès La – Kote Espri, Fanmi, ak Disiplin Mache Nan Menm Chimen
Nan Lakû Mètrès La, kominote a pa yon bagay ou rantre ladan l. Se sa w vin ye.
Nou pa yon klèb. Nou pa yon gwoup sosyal. Nou pa yon tandans oswa yon jwèt espirityèl.
Nou se yon linyaj vivan, yon Sosyete, yon Sèk, yon Kay Lwa, ki bati sou disiplin, lanmou, responsablite, ak lòd zansèt yo.
Chak moun ki rantre nan Lakû ar antre nan yon rit, yon responsablite, ak yon fanmi espirityèl ki pwolonje
soti Ozetazini, rive Ayiti, rive nan peyi zansèt Ginen yo.
Se sa nou ye.
OUR SPIRITUAL FAMILY STRUCTURE
THE LAKÛ
The Lakû is the heart of everything.
It is our spiritual home, the place where teachings originate, where laws are held, and where tradition is guarded.
The Lakû carries the ancestral current and the root of every ceremony, every class, and every initiation
ESTRIKTI FANMI ESPIRITYÈL NOU
LAKÛ A
Lakû a se kè tout bagay.
Se Kay espirityèl nou, kote fòmasyon pran nesans, kote lwa yo kenbe, kote nou veye tradisyon yo.
Lakû a pote kouran zansèt yo, rasin chak seremoni, chak klas, ak chak inisyasyon.
THE COVEN / SOSYETE
The Coven is the working body of the Lakû.
This is where members study, serve, learn protocol, honor the spirits, and develop through structure, discipline, and daily ritual practice.
The Coven is a living machine.
Every member is a moving part.
When the parts work in harmony, the spirits walk easily among us.
KOVEN / SOSYETE A
Kòven lan se kò travay Lakû a.
Se la manm yo etidye, sèvi, aprann pwotokòl, onore espri yo, epi devlope nan estrikti, disiplin, ak pratik rityèl chak jou.
Kòven lan se yon machin vivan.
Chak manm se yon pyès ki deplase.
Lè tout pyès yo mache ansanm, espri yo sikile fasil nan mitan nou.
OUR EXTENDED SOSYETE IN HAITI
Lakû Mètrès La is not isolated. We stand on the shoulders of a larger spiritual family in Haiti, our ancestral Sosyete, to whom we remain rooted, loyal, and connected.
This extended house:
- Holds our lineage
- Grounds us in Ginen tradition
- Hosts many of our ceremonies
- Guides us in ancestral alignment
- Supports our initiations and rites
- Keeps us aligned with the spiritual standards of the homeland
This connection is not symbolic — it is active, living, and essential.
It ensures that our School, our Lakû, and our Coven remain spiritually legitimate and grounded in true Vodoun practice, not modern invention.
PWOLONJMAN SOSYETE NOU AN AYITI
Lakû Mètrès La pa izole.
Nou kanpe sou zepòl yon gwo fanmi espirityèl an Ayiti, Sosyete zansèt nou, kote nou rete lwayal, fidèl,e konekte.
Gwo Kay sa a:
- Kenbe linyaj nou
- Ankre nou nan tradisyon Ginen
- Resevwa anpil nan seremoni nou yo
- Gide nou nan bon aliman ak zansèt yo
- Sipòte inisyasyon ak rit nou yo
- Kenbe nou aliyen ak estanda espirityèl peyi nou
SPIRITUAL MOTHERS & FATHERS
Our elders guide through example, not performance.
They teach the rituals, maintain the order, and protect the sacred.
They do not dominate.
They steward.
LAKU’S KIDS
The Inner Court, the closest children of the Lakû.
They serve the spirits faithfully, uphold tradition, and carry the house on their shoulders.
They support ceremonies, build altars, prepare offerings, and work directly with Mètrès.
THE WIDER COMMUNITY
supporters, donors, practitioners, and allies who walk with respect, devotion, and sincerity, even if they never become initiates.
This community is global.
This family is spiritual.
This lineage is ancestral.
KOMINOTE A an LAJ
Sipòtè, donatè, pratikan, ak alye ki mache ak respè, devosyon, ak verite,
menm si yo pa janm vin inisye.
Kominote sa a atravè mond lan.
Fanmi sa a se fanmi espirityèl.
Linyaj sa a se linyaj zansèt.
